Dr. Tan Hui Jieh is a Consultant Neurologist practicing at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, as well as sessionally at Pantai Hospital Ipoh and Hospital Seri Botani. He completed his Fellowship in Stroke Neurology at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth, in 2023. Dr. Tan has a strong interest in developing comprehensive stroke services, spanning acute management such as thrombolysis and thrombectomy to post-stroke rehabilitation and long-term care. He is also dedicated to the management of dementia and cognitive disorders. Currently serving as the Perak Stroke Champion, Dr. Tan is the recipient of the Malaysia Stroke Council’s Rising Star Award in Stroke. He is a regular speaker at national conferences and actively engages in community education on stroke and dementia awareness
